I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Sana on Cosmic Confluence, and it was one of those conversations that felt less like an interview and more like a meeting of minds. Sana is a deeply poetic and thoughtful host who has a beautiful way of reflecting back what you've said in language that somehow crystallizes the meaning even further. Her ability to listen and then articulate insights with such clarity made our conversation truly special.
What I appreciated most about Sana's approach was her focus on practical application. She wanted to know how people could actually use astrology right away, not just understand it theoretically. We talked about astrology as a timing tool for decision-making in life and business, not a fixed label that boxes you into a personality type. It's about working with natural rhythms rather than forcing constant output in a culture that glorifies burnout.
We explored how rhythm matters at every level: circadian patterns, seasons, and lunar cycles all impact our energy, emotions, and long-term health outcomes. I shared how Mercury retrograde isn't a time to hide and panic, but rather a review window for communication, thinking patterns, and mental clarity. Forecasting works like gardening. There are seasons to start, grow, maintain, and let things end without forcing outcomes that aren't ready to bloom.
One of the simplest practices I offered was observing the moon directly, not just through apps, and noticing how lunar phases affect your mood and drive. Waxing moon phases often align with higher momentum for harder tasks, while waning phases support rest, reflection, and recovery. Scheduling rest as a normal cycle, not a luxury, can reduce conflict, exhaustion, and emotional volatility in profound ways.
I also encouraged listeners to try a two-week micro-challenge: track one metric daily like mood, energy, conflict, or productivity alongside the moon phase to spot patterns. Science is valuable but limited to current knowledge. Personal results matter too, so track what improves your life with honesty and curiosity.
Perhaps the most important point we touched on was this: when you focus more on strengths than flaws, your choices shift. That mindset can improve relationships, health, and confidence over time. Working with your natural rhythms instead of against them isn't indulgent. It's intelligent.
Thank you, Sana, for creating such a thoughtful space for this conversation.
